Advent is a season that invites Christians to express their longing for the coming of Jesus - to wait and wonder and hope in the incarnation. Come gather and sing the story, long foretold. Join us as we quiet our hearts to listen; through scripture, song, poetry and liturgy, we will enjoy an evening of reflection on the Word made flesh.
Performer Bio
Chris Hiatt has led worship at Christ Community Church for the last 15 years. He is passionate about the church and it's singing faith and loves working with musicians and vocalists to rehearse the gospel story each week. He has enjoyed exploring the richness of church calendar. Advent, in particular, provides a unique opportunity for reflection and beauty. Along with his wife and three children, he is pleased to be a part of the community in Gainesville and loves calling it home.
