Art Exhibition: Consider the Sparrows

While living in France for a month this summer, I was constantly invited to take in the beauty around me, whether it was a tree I had never seen before, a flower I could not name, or strangers enjoying community in the park. Living in an unfamiliar place gave me fresh eyes to experience the world around me in a new way.

As a photographer and videographer, I often move through the world as though a camera is already in hand, instinctively noticing the way sunlight filters through branches or the cool blue tones hidden within shaded grass. These observations have led me to appreciate that our eyes can perceive what cameras cannot fully capture, whether in the richness of color or the subtlety of light.

Through my work, I hope to invite viewers to pause, look more closely, and rediscover the beauty that exists in places easily overlooked. Take…
