About the event
Please join us at the Christian Study Center of Gainesville for our second CSC Convivium, a hospitable gathering over food and drink, during which participants can discuss meaningful and timely topics of broad interest. The goal of the Convivium is for individuals to have space to explore enduring and contemporary questions of human life without needing to read a tremendous amount of material in advance (only a few diverse and short readings to guide our discussion). This semester's Convivium will be centered on the question, "Why Read?" Readings will be disseminated via email to all registrants.
The Convivium will take place on Thursday, September 10th, 7–9pm, and will be facilitated by Mike Sacasas (Executive Director) and Joshua Perlin (Assistant Director), Dinner will be provided free of charge. For discussion purposes, we will be capping the event at the first 20 registrants.
