Time & Location
Mar 24, 2026, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Christian Study Center Gainesville, 112 NW 16th St, Gainesville, FL 32603, USA
About the event
The value of human vocational labor is debated within contemporary industrialized society. Such debates are made increasingly complex by shifting technological, economic, and educational landscapes, along with the philosophical and theological assumptions underlying these shifts.
Later this month, we will gather for dinner and conversation to consider these larger issues and ultimately ponder what work is for. Mike Sacasas and Joshua Perlin will be facilitating the discussion from select short readings that participants will have the opportunity to read before the dinner.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 24th from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Dinner will be provided free of charge, but we will be capping the event at the first 20 registrants. Please register for this event using the button below.
