About the event

What does it mean to understand the work of mental health care as a distinctly Christian vocation? In this three-part series, a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator will explore four major models of integrating Christian faith with counseling—integrative, Biblical, levels of explanation, and Christian psychology—considering how each approaches the relationship between psychological science, Christian theology, and our understanding of human persons. Together, we will consider what these perspectives have to offer those seeking to practice—or better understand—mental health care within a Christian vision of human flourishing.
